{This is a small excerpt from a recent presentation I gave on social media.}
In my experience, when I start talking to business owners about using Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn to drive traffic to their website, or to find prospects or to announce events, I always hear, “Well, we would like to but who has time for it especially TWITTER! I will never get any work done.” Social Media - Jump on the Band WagonOr how about this one, “Who cares about what I have to say or what I am doing every minute of the day.”

Actually, marketing through social media supports good time management because it is very simple to use. It only takes 20-30 minutes to set up your profile on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Youtube.

Thereafter, you only need to spend 10-15 minutes in social media each day. It is necessary have a presence in that social media in order to have a distinct effect on strengthening your brand, attracting customers and prospects to your company. It is also a great way to just have fun!

You may have noticed by now that many big brand companies are using social networking sites on a daily basis. Why are these companies using social media?

1. Social networking sites are relationship building tools.
2. It enlarges their Internet footprint. The more places you are, the more people are likely to find you.
3. It makes it easier for people to stay connected to you. The more you remain in the forefront of people’s minds, the better off your brand is.

I know you are ready to jump on the bandwagon.
